This is my first year teaching at CANISTEO-GREENWOOD CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT! I'm beyond excited to be here amongst all the wonderful students and faculty. This year in physical education we will learn new activities, take a deeper look at game play tactics, all while having fun and staying safe.

I grew up in the upstate New York Area in a small town called Wayland. I graduated from Wayland-Cohocton Central School in 2002. From there I went to college at Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC). I then transferred to SUNY Brockport for my bachelors' degree in physical education and a minor in adapted physical education.

About this time last year, I was teaching elementary physical education in California. It was an amazing experience as I had the pleasure of working at three different schools weekly. My job was to teach classroom teachers how to teach physical education so that they would be able to continue the program once my services at their school were complete. Each and every school was completely different than the other so it was a unique experience on a daily basis. I believe I have grown a lot as a professional and as a person through my experience and look forward to bringing those gains to Canisteo-Greenwood.

My hobbies include playing sports (basketball), working out, anything outdoors (big time hunter), reading, archery, and coaching! My commitment to educating the youth is my number one priority. I firmly believe that if a person is educated, their dreams and goals will always be achievable.
