    Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,The Canisteo-Greenwood Central School District would like to apologize to all students, parents, and community members of our district for the miscommunication and mishandling of the process to possibly change the name of the “Redskins” to another name.We did not intend to offend anyone, but obviously this is what happened. We are continuing to move forward with investigating this possibility. The next step is the Informational Meeting on July 8, 2013 in the High School Auditorium. Thank you for your interest in our school.

    The Summer of Innovation offers unique learning opportunities for children and young adults during the summer months, extending the traditional school year into a third summer semester. These opportunities provide students with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) skills that are essential to their success in the future.

    Kindergarten screening- If your child is 5 years old or will be turning 5 by December 1st please call the Elementary School at 698-4225 ext. 1400 to set up an appointment for screening.

  • National JH Society Collection Drive

    National Junior Honor Society 8/9 members coordinated a collection drive for items at the High School to benefit the animals at the Hornell Area Humane Society.
